Flood Map for the Chalakudy River Basin has prepared by Kerala Agricultural University in association with Academy of Climate Change Education and Research,KAU. Separate flood maps were prepared for the 21 grama panchayaths in the Chalakudy river basin. In addition to this flood maps for Chalakudi and Kodungallur municipalities are also composed under the project
